of waiting in line when we(Zach, Yohei) decided to go early in order to get a good spot.

3000 EARLY BIRDS
are allowed to go into the fenced up circle around the stage and we were in it.

that is where I was standing. I could clearly see Bono in front of my face.

3 METRES
is how far I was away from one of the pathways extended out from the stage.

awesome set! check out the amount of speakers and lights!

40000 FANS
packed MT Smart Stadium for the 2nd U2 concert.

1 RAPPER
Kanye West was the opening act for U2. He performed hits such as golddigger, workout plan, diamonds are forever, touch the sky, heard em say and etc.

they blasted the crowd with city of blinding lights! first song! heard them doing sound check while lining up.

45 MINUTES
wait for them to set up the stage for U2 after Kanye. It was worth it.


22 SONGS
were performed for us. songs like city of blinding lights, vertigo, elevation, until the end of the world, still haven't found what I'm looking for, beautiful day, angel of harlem, walk on, sometimes you can't make it on your own, bad, sunday bloody sunday, bullet the blue sky, miss sarajevo, pride in the name of love, where the streets have no name, one, the fly, mysterious ways, with or without you, the saints are coming, desire and one tree hill.


2 ENCORES
U2 was cheered to come back out twice to perform more songs. They were really very nice. Imagine 4 old man as old as my dad, perfomed non-stop ever since they started with the first song!

very super duper, happy, lucky, tired, hungry me. I was definately blown away by their performance. they were simply amazing. Bono singing live was great, the giant stage definately gave the Ommph into the whole show, and I really admire him. with his talent and influence he tries hard to make a change in the world. during the show he educated us about poverty, human rights and to unite as one to solve all the issues we faced today. It was simply awesome. it was really a great experience.

BIG DAY OUT!

FREAKIN AUCKLAND WEATHER!! So cold and wet. The wind is so so strong that it nearly blew me off my feet twice today. A sign that I need to gain more weight maybe..

Anyways, is there anyone who wanna go to BIG DAY OUT with me? I wanna buy the tickets this week! It is running out FAST!

Oh yeah, it is a concert. It is hot, sweaty, crowded and rough.

Not some theater show. So, yes. Be prepared.

I had a wonderful day today...i mean yesterday

because...

1) the sun was out and the weather was hot.

2) changed my vodafone prepay plan to Supa Prepay..Gosh it's damn worth it!

3) I went to dressmart with my girl, she so sayang me, she purposely came and teman me.

4) Went home watched Lost and Grey's.

5) Went soccer with the boys.

6) Had KFC for dinner!

7) and to wrap things up, Mag dragged my lazy ass to watch the BEST EVER fireworks show in Henderson. I never seen such a great fireworks show..it ran at least for 30 mins - 45 mins..It was awesome!! (click FIREWORKS if unable to see the video)


8) to add on to the list, my visa has been approved!! =)

9) not only it ends there, I am having my review on monday or tuesday! At last...
