Thankful

That I'm still alive..

That mom gave me the chance to further my studies..

That I have so much freedom to do what I want to do and my family is supportive about it..

In away that I left my comfort zone and loved ones and see how well I'll survive on my own.. pretty alright I must say..

In away i got closer to my family..

I was able to open my heart and express my feelings easier..

To be able to travel and experience New Zealand

To be alive after bungy jumping twice and leaping out of a plane..

For good house mates..

For meeting new and great friends..

I got to spend my 21st birthday with my best friend who travel so far to be with me..

I didn't become someone I'm not..

I was able to change and do the right thing..

For Eugenie for renting her place to me..

I got a great house mate, Cynthia..

I graduated.. worked few sucky jobs.. got a real job..

I got the chance to watch U2, The Fray, STOMP, Sarah Mclachlan..

I have amazing family and friends back home..

I got the chance to go down South for the games and tour..

I scored two goals during this game and the feeling was unforgettable..

I have good teammates/friends that told me that we won the game when we lost..because my eye was injured..

I didn't go blind..

I had a big crush, mend a broken heart and be good friends..

For having great friends here and at home..who was there to pick me up when I was down, guided me when I was lost and protected me..

I met Mag..

I fell for her..

Even though we got together for only a short time before you left, it felt just like yesterday when we were having talks in your car about you leaving or staying, nights just hanging out and talking, sleep-overs, carrying boxes, sleepless nights, car wash, KFC, Henderson, Pak n Save, Garlic Bread, Misty...hehe (MISS YOU!)

I am going to see people I miss so much in a couple more weeks..

That I had one of the best times in my life in this 2 years..

To you!
(yes you reading this and those who are not as well)
for being apart of my life..

For great times, great memories, all the happiness, love, fun. If I would ever die anytime soon, I can say I lived life almost to the fullest. But if I ever do die, I just need to let everyone know how much I love them.

All I want to say is life is short, too short for us to be angry at someone or something. Why not apologize, forgive and forget? If someone broke your heart, move on. The person definitely don't deserve you or it just wasn't meant to be. There will be someone else who will love you even more. Just be patient. Don't hate that person forgive that person. Be friends. If it is about money, don't worry, you can work and earn some more. Let the past go, throw those regrets away and start anew. It is never too late to change. No more excuses and procrastination..just live life! You live you learn! You fall, you get up!

Alright maybe I'm talking too much...going psycho over new year! Before I go, I wanna wish everyone:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

To happiness, joy, love, fun, wealth, health, prosperity and everything I left out. =P

Enjoy!

* I would like to apologize if I ever hurt, harm or did anything to offend anyone of you. Hope you forgive me yah?! Happy New Year again! *

South Island | 30th June 2006

The third day in Dunedin is about Chocolate, Beer and...more sight seeing? I am cutting shorter on my posts as they are getting really really long and I can't remember as much details anymore.

Here is what we did on the third day in Dunedin..

First we visited the Cadbury Chocolate Factory! In this tour, you get to witness how chocolate are made. Where they came from, how they it is processed, packaged and bla bla bla...it was pretty interesting to see how it actually works. The good thing of this tour is that you get free samples of chocolates to bring back with you!

Wei En & Yin..in front of the Chocolate hill..

David "kamcheng" with choco man..

We had to wear shower caps, latest style in NZ ..kidding.. just for hygiene purposes..

Right after the Chocolate tour, we headed to the Speight's Brewery Tour instead. After having some chocolate you gotta have some cold beer to wash it all down..hehe

Sober faces before the beer tour..

During the tour..

The tour was THAT interesting..

The best part of the tour was at the end of it. Not because of all the new things we have learned but there was beer tasting! When you say free..imagine how the bunch of Malaysian will react? hehe

Some people prefer to drink it in small cups..

But some people...I don't need to explain right?

Always remember to drink moderately..

If not, this will be the result..

Some didn't even drink.. Zaf? Hmm??

Everybody under the influence..

Alcohol was still there..

After the tour, we took a bus to the world steepest street in the world. Baldwin Street. From the photos you can't really tell it is steep but if you are to drive up that hill, you should pray..scary man..

At the bottom of Baldwin Street..

I kid you not. It was that steep..

But again... maybe it was the alcohol yet again..

Hooray! We finally conquered Baldwin Street..

Finally, after conquering the hill, all of us headed down to the bus stop. We took the bus and visited a couple more places. We went to:

Some garden to do "tai chi"..

Don't ask me what are we doing.. but we were supposed to act like I'm in pain because I was sitting on a cactus..

St. Clairs beach trying to shake my bon bon..

After that we were pretty much exhausted and so we hang out at a cafe nearby to recharge and played "shithead". This game was our official card game throughout the entire trip down south. After recharging, we headed back to town and had dinner. Later, me, David, Wei En, Zaf and Yin hung out with some friends at a cafe. Later me and David headed to the backpackers and continued "shithead" till pretty early in the morning because we were staying up for the Germany and Argentina game. We only managed to watch the first half of the game as we were watching the game in the cold...and we were dead tired too...so that was my 3rd day in Dunedin...till then I'll leave you with teens these days and drinking problems..

Heheheh..

South Island | 29th June 2006

Inspired and amazed by Sher Mayne who actually finish documenting her entire trip down south somewhere in July this year, I wanna follow her footsteps too. Bare with me...this is more for my own reading. When I'm old, I wanna be able to read back all the good times I've been through! I can't really remember the details but I'll let the photos tell my story.

28th June 2006

29th June 2006

As far as I can recall now, I woke up to a cold cold morning. We were supposed to meet Wei En, Zaf, Yin, Yet Tyng, Edwin, Sher Mayne and Ying Swan at iSite. The morning are not just cold. It was freezing. Imagine pee-ing and you can see vapour. -_-". Cold or not?

As we reached iSite, we saw some familiar faces already turned up. It was Sher Mayne, Ying Swan and Wee Chin. We spent some time hanging out at the place to book and decide on where and what to do for the next day in the beautiful city of Dunedin.

The gang looking for some food in the rainy weather

After much discussion and indecisiveness to plan on what to do next, we finally booked ourselves to go on the Cadbury Chocolate Factory Tour and the Speight's Brewery Tour! As for now, we needed to fill our tummy with food as we headed to the nearest food court which was the Meridian? I think so..

David was hungry for something else..

As the weather wasn't great on that day, Yet Tyng, our official tour guide brought us around on a tour to the Otago University. The university is huge and it is really beautiful. The buildings are old but still very well preserved. Here are some pictures to tell the rest of the tour:

Wannabe medic students...

Otago Uni..clock tower? I don't know...dont look at me..

Always time for a group picture! Still in Otago Uni..isn't it pretty?

The uni was so huge, we needed to take breaks..

David, Ying Swan, Yin & Shermayne. Weather wasn't too nice on us..

It got worst till I need to hang on to the rail....I was just exaggerating

I never knew David likes this kinda kinky stuff...who am I to judge right?

Anyway after our lovely tour around the uni, we explored the city instead. I must say Dunedin is a really nice city. It is so European like..and for the first time I'm in NZ I feel so much like a tourist because there are more white people around compared to Auckland.

Dunedin

After a long day of walking in the rain, we headed back to the backpackers where Shermayne, Ying Swan and Wee Chin stayed. We played some card games and kill some time till dinner as we were meeting the OMSA committee. They were very kind to meet up with us and bring us to dinner.

Dinner with OMSA Committee, and this is how David thanked them...

After the dinner we walked back to where we stayed, while the girls got a lift from Marie. We got a glimpse of the nightlife in Dunedin and it is pretty, pretty I must say. That was all for that day as far as I can remember...till then..
