First and foremost I wanna apologize for not updating my blog. I've been really busy recharging and re-adjusting back to reality and life. I guess 3 weeks of rest is more than enough. And my blog is not a dead blog or standstill blog okay...
I have lots to blog about my trip but it will just bore everyone out. So here goes, I'll just mention the highlights!
Mag + Singapore!
The first 4 days of my trip back were spent with Mag. 3 days in Malaysia and a day in Singapore. In summary after few days back home, I've already played futsal with my friends twice, mamak twice, went shopping for 3-4 times in Mid Valley, One Utama, Curve and etc, ate lots of delicious food, and most importantly spent sweet quality time with Mag after being away from her for 2 solid months. I even went down to Singapore to meet Mag's parents. I was pretty nervous but it was all good. Kinda like Singapore as well, as it reminds me of Penang. Moving on now...
Dad
I was so worried when I heard the news. My dad had 3 blocks in his heart. Just 2 days before CNY, he was admitted to the UH for treatment. It was pretty serious as the blocks range from 80% to 99%. A heart attack was just waiting to happen only. Thank god my dad goes for regular check-ups. He found out there was something wrong when he was doing the treadmill test. The doc said there was something wrong with the result and adviced him to make an appointment. The most ridiculous thing was, the appointment would be in September. Appointment only. Not treatment okay.. "By then I would have been dead", that was what my dad said. But luckily this doctor that my dad spoke to was willing to do the treatment(angiogram). God bless his soul. My dad thank him in advance, but he told my dad to thank him after the treatment as there is a risk that the patient will get a heart attack during the treatment. Anyway in the end thank god my dad is well and healthy now. He have to be on medication for the whole year. This incident really freaked me out. I was nearly in tears as my mom was explaining to me about his condition and the risk of the treatment. My thoughts went wild, thinking of all the "what if"? I was really afraid. Afraid to lose my dad. Afraid to lose anyone in my family. Afraid to lose people I care and love. But yet again, it is life. Life goes on. Even if it hurts.
I was never really close to my family. But this incident has made me realized that family is very important. Time is running out. People you love aren't here to stay forever and my parents aren't getting any younger. This have made me to reconsider about my stay and job here in NZ. Money and job is temporary only. For now, I would love to return back home for good so I could spend more time with people dearest to me and get to know them even more. We're just human being, we often take things for granted..
After the treatment. My dad's hand was still bleeding..
Me as usual, just fooling around to calm myself a lil..

Family & Friends
Family is family. Friends are friends. Simple as that. No matter how long you have been away from them, as soon as you meet them again, everything will fall into place again. Not instantly sometimes but often it will. I must admit after not seeing people that are so close to you for so long, you have this fear that people would be distant. They will soon become strangers and things are not as it is anymore. That's not the case for me. Even there is a little nervousness and oddness at first when I met my family, my great friends and Mag. But it all soon disappeared. My group of friends back home are pretty tight. All of us have been friends at the very least of 10 years. At the very least. Some even until 16 years...how fast time flies huh? College mates also already 6 years already..but the best thing is, we are all still in contact. I'm thankful and I can say I'm a very lucky guy.

Definately one of the things I enjoyed most was food. I created a list before I flew back to Malaysia, reminding me of all the delicious food I have to eat when I'm home...
hokkien mee, fried noodles, chee cheong fun, pork noodles, dim sum, ikan bakar, chicken rice, wonton mee, laksa, nasi lemak, mamak, bak kut teh, beef noodle soup, char keow teow, prawn mee, crab, steamboat, duck rice, mixed pork porridge, ham choi soup, yong tau foo, claypot chicken rice, ice kacang, pan mee, tau fu fa, soya bean, coconut, sugarcane, currypuff, kaya puff, egg tart..
I know lots of food I missed out because of CNY..you know lar how all these restaurants and hawkers will be closed for at least 2 freakin weeks...sigh..
Talking about chinese new year, it has always been the day I look forward every year. Although it is quieter each year, I'm still enjoying it. Time of angpaus, food, family, friends and gambling...hehe =)
I played futsal for a total of 4 times during my trip back.
Went to laundry bar twice.
Finally found out my dad is a catholic.
All in all, my trip home was one super fantastic one. Thank you again to those people who took the time to bring me around, makan with me, all the invitations and all the fun and wild times..
Thank you to sister for buying me so many good stuff. I'm like officially sponsored by Adidas now..LOL..
Thank you to my family for being patient and always supportive..
Thank you Mag for being patient with me when you were in Malaysia, temaning me to futsal session and meet ups with my friends. For the crazy time in Singapore. All the tour, good food, movie, our "short walk" to the bus stop..hehehe I love you!
But all good things have to come to an end right....sigh...nearly cried on the last day at the airport. Hold it back. I guess, I'm a little tougher now..
God bless.
